How you look is what makes you feel complete. The majority of the population are now actively investing in beauty therapies and get fit treatments because of this. The main concern however is from people moaning about big stretch marks. According to recent surveys, stretch marks are extremely common among the female population. The majority of women, over 90 percent suffer from stretch marks after giving birth, and over 70 percent of women have suffered since their teens.

How do those stretch marks actually appear in the first place? Stretch marks often happen when the subcutaneous tissue under the skin snaps due to rapid 'stretching', which often happens when there is a significant weight increase, like during pregnancy. Stretch marks cause zero internal damage; the issue is mostly cosmetic and can make people feel self conscious and insecure. Luckily, there are solutions available to remove them, with a variety of creams, lotions, massage techniques, and therapies available in drug stores and supermarkets. The real question though is do these products really work in decreasing stretch mark visibility?

The best way to get rid of stretch marks is by what forms them in the first instance. Stretch marks are the result of fibres in our skin breaking. However, once broken those fibres are unable to reheal or reform, leaving many stretch marks permanent. By carefully applying a decent stretch mark product, you can greatly reduce the intensity of stretch marks and gently fade them out of sight. What stretch mark products actually do is fade the stretch marks, making them hard to see, rather than clearing the stretch marks completely. For the majority, this is a good enough answer for reducing their stretch marks and increasing their self esteem.

There are several solutions available that you can apply that are minimally invasive, such as chemical peeling, intense pulsed light, mesotherapy, creams and laser therapy. Although you wont permanently clear them, these treatments will make the marks reduce in color intensity, making them less noticeable and look much better. These non-invasive treatments will reduce the visible effect of your stretch marks and cause them to instantly reduce there intense colour. Your stretch marks will disappear fast using these solutions, but they will not clear all together.

For sustained results, the best place to start from is to use a credible stretch mark treatment that, won't permanently clear those stretch marks, but will significantly decrease them, making them less visible.
